In an interview with US journalists, Hua specifies that because of the ban, the US has effectively ceased all forms of purchasing from the brand, the likelihood of such an agreement happening anytime soon is thin. Engadget reports that the company unveiled the Huawei Card during the Chinese launch event for the P40. It’s not made of titanium like the Apple Card, but it’s instead made of the regular credit card plastic. But it will reportedly adopt some of the Apple Card’s best features. To start, it serves as both a physical and a virtual card, and can make use of NFC payments. Your phone will also handle the card’s data in the way mobile payments are handled....

That being said, it doesn’t look like the Pro model of the device has made its way here. At least, not yet. If you missed our earlier report, the Mate Xs 2 is running on the 4G variant of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor alongside 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Equipped with a 7.8-inch OLED 120Hz display that also has a maximum resolution of 2480 x 2200, it can be folded into a 6.5-inch screen with 2480 x 1176 resolution. Despite having a rather large footprint due to its foldable nature, the phone is actually lighter than one might expect at only 255 grams....
