There’s no prize for guessing where Dell looked to for inspiration when designing the Concept UFO. It’s painfully obvious that the Alienware team has taken a page from Nintendo’s Switch portable console, right down to the controllers. Allow me to be painfully clear: the outlook of the Concept UFO may be identical to the Switch, but the innards are those of a full-fledged PC, powered by an Intel CPU. Specifically, it’s a 10th generation Intel Core processor but beyond that bit of information, Dell isn’t divulging a whole lot else about it....

Details of the alleged Ryzen 9 7845HX, were found over at the Ashes of the Singularity (AOTS) database. More specifically, it “confirms” not just the CPU’s designation, but that it is also a unit with a 12-core, 24-threads configuration. Oh, and it also appears to be based on AMD’s “Dragon Range” Zen4 architecture. The video review was posted on YouTube by Odd Tech Reviewers and just to be clear, the Core i7-11700 is the non-K variant of Intel’s Rocket Lake-S CPU, meaning that it is non-overclockable. Odd Tech Reviewers also says that the 11700 is one of several qualification samples that he received from Intel, so it’s safe to say that the performance listed in their review may vary from the consumer-ready CPU at launch....

According to 91Mobiles, the OnePlus 10 Pro will reportedly sport a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, along with a 120Hz refresh rate. Internally, the phone is expected to ship out with a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC, have either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a UFS 3.1 internal storage between 128GB and 256GB. Powering it all up is a supposedly large 5000mAh battery, although there’s still no indication if it will support the brand’s Warp Charge fast-charging technology....

The source of the rumour stems from a press render posted on Reddit recently. Interestingly, the render also gives us a glimpse what Sony’s next Xperia flagship looks like. Unsurprisingly, the legitimacy of the render is questionable at best. From the image, it’s clear that the alleged Xperia 9 sports a main triple-camera module; initial reports suggested that Sony’s upcoming flagship would sport a quad-camera module instead. Complete with a 64MP primary sensor and a kind of periscope module for what could very well be a long-distance optical zoom function....

According to Blass, the OPPO Find X3 (codenamed Fussi) will sport a curved 6.7-inch display with 1440 x 3216 resolution and an adaptive dynamic refresh rate of 10Hz to 120Hz. It is suggested that the phone is around eight millimeters thick and weighs about 190g, and features a ceramic glaze-like or matte-frosted glass rear case. He added that it will be expected to launch in blue and black colour options, with a white version coming later after the phone’s release....

During a 2nd quarter earnings call, Dr Su spoke about her company’s 7nm high-end Navi GPU and 7nm mobile CPUs. Stating that the products were on their way, and that the company has a “rich 7nm portfolio beyond the products that we have already announced in the upcoming quarters”. While lacking details, Dr Su’s comments more or less hint at the likelihood of AMD actually releasing an answer to NVIDIA’s higher end GeForce RTX 2080 Super and RTX 2080 Ti cards....

According to its pre-CES 2019 media presentation, AMD has decided to enter the Chromebook market due to its excellent growth rate which is said to be at 8% per year. For starters, AMD has two processors ready for 2019 Chromebooks as shown below: AMD A6-9220C: 2-cores/2-threads, 2.7/1.8GHz, 1MB L2 & L3 Cache, Radeon R4 3-Cores 720MHz. With TDP rated at 6W, the 28nm chips were said to be able to deliver better performance than the typical Chromebook processors that are being offered by Intel at the moment such as the Pentium N4200 and Celeron N3350....

Discovery of the 7700 was first posted on Twitter by the repository, Benchleaks (@BenchLeaks), which in turn was posted on the benchmark site, Geekbench. According to MoePC, the new AMD Ryzen Threadripper 5000 series CPU goes under the codename “Chagall” and there are several unsubstantiated rumours to it. For a start, the Chinese site claims that the number of cores in each Threadripper 5000 series CPU remain unchanged. Of course, what is known is that the CPU architecture in the new HEDT lineup will be upgraded from Zen 2 to the current 7nm Zen 3 CPU architecture....

Details on the upcoming game is scarce at the moment. Marvel made the announcement on its own website, saying that it is working with Skydance New Media, which Hennig leads, for the game. One new feature that Google seems to be working on for Android 12 is a supposed Game Mode, in the form of a “GameManager service”. XDA explains that the feature is distinct from the currently existing “GameManagerClient”, that is a part of the Google Play Services. There’s still not a lot of information over how Google’s dedicated Game Mode will function, other than the feature will supposedly come with smartphone features such as notifications, brightness and sounds....

The member in question is Booking Holding, the online travel company responsible for Booking.com, Kayak, and Priceline. With the company’s departure, the Libra Association is now left with 21 members. Including Calibra, Uber, Spotify, and a few telco brands. Booking Holding’s desertion comes just as the Libra Association held its first meeting among board members in Geneva, Switzerland.
