The new directive applies to Penang, Selangor, Melaka, Johor, Kelantan, and Sabah as well as Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan. Originally, the MCO (Conditional MCO for Kelantan) period for these states was supposed to conclude on 26 January 2021. The extension doesn’t come as a surprise since the government has recently decided to turn almost all states in Malaysia into a MCO zone with the exception of Sarawak. Furthermore, the country has been facing four-digit figures for new COVID-19 cases since early December 2020 and so far, there is no sign that it will subside anytime soon....

Now it appears that the company is having a Mr. Hyde moment and telling all who do the latter that there is a catch: while users can install the Windows 11 via ISO, it will withhold the Windows Update feature if it detects that PC’s components are not up to its specifications. After observing the hackers’ targets, tactics and procedures, Microsoft determined that they belonged to Hafnium, a state-sponsored group based physically in China but operating primarily from leased virtual private servers (VPS) in the US. According to Microsoft, Hafnium tends to go after infectious disease researchers, law firms, higher education institutions, defence contractors, policy think tanks, and NGOs. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, hacking for infectious disease research data perhaps shouldn’t be surprising....

Sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans told website Thurrott that the product will likely be called the Surface Buds. As far as features go, the upcoming wireless earbuds are said to come with Cortana integration and noise cancelling, much like the Surface Headphones. The report also listed another feature that apparently would improve interactions between a phone and the earbuds to make reading easier. The two tech giants have reportedly managed to both produce and demonstrate how ray-tracing works on a mobile game. In this case, the showcase was done via a Chinese-made title, Love is Justice. The feature suggests a new show or movie based on what you’ve watched before, and might even bring up content that you started but haven’t finished yet. Following this is another newly introduced function known as Fast Laughs, which provides a highlight reel of funny clips based on Netflix’s series and films. Due to this, some amusingly have referred to this feature as Netflix’s own TikTok clone. It was released on iOS earlier this year and is now also available on Android mobile devices in certain countries, including the US, Australia, Canada, Ireland, India, Philippines, the UK, and Malaysia....

Specifically, the contents that pulled into users’ device by the new Downloads For You feature are based on their viewing habits. This does not mean that Netflix has free reign over the storage space of the device though.
