As described on the PlayStation Blog, the DualSense Edge features the all new customisation options that you’d expect from a Pro controller. This includes the ability to adjust stick sensitivity and deadzones, as well as the ability to remap or even deactivate specific button inputs. Analogue stick caps are interchangeable, and so are the back buttons. Another bonus feature that the DualSense Edge has over the basic model is the ability to save multiple profiles onto it, like a gaming mouse of keyboard....

One is that the Pokemon Unite beta is only open to Canadians starting March. Second is that it is only available on Android. It’s strange, since the game is also made for iOS and the Nintendo Switch. If this flavour of weird is a familiar one to you, then you probably remember the initial announcement for Diablo Immortal’s alpha. It was also an Android only affair, but it was only open to Australians at the time....

First reported by XDA via senior forum member RKBD, this leak has been made available ahead of the planned Android 12 Developer Preview that is expected to be rolling out this month. The site added that the mockup is also accompanied by an alleged early draft of a document summarising the expected changes to be featured in the upcoming upgrade. XDA could not vouch whether the leak is indeed real, but noted the high chance of its authenticity based on procured evidence from a trusted source....

Pringles dubs the potato chips feeder attachment as the “Pringles Hammer Hunger” and consists of 3D printed dispenser with a motorized feeder attached that delivers you the chips directly to your mouth. As seen from the hands-on video by Engadget, the feeder can be activated by a press of a button via remote. Engadget pointed out that the headset attachment actually functions very well, but noted that the motorized parts were rather loud when it’s operating to feed you the chips....

According to Dealabs, October’s free games for PS Plus subscribers include the PS% version of the WWII shooter Hell Let Loose. Following this are TakeTwo’s PGA Tour 2K21and Mortal Kombat X. Interestingly the site notes that the last item may get replaced in some countries, but with no indication as to what that may be. It’s an oddly specific title to single out, but it’s a fair detail all the same....

This means that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be headlining the free games for PS Plus subscribers next month. A game that should need no introduction if you’re into the Star Wars franchise, but for those who do it’s effectively a Soulslike entry for the now Disney property. And a very good game by most accounts, despite what publisher EA has done with the franchise throughout its exclusivity deal....

All you have to do is to download the Apple TV app onto your PS5, then sign into your Apple ID from there. Naturally, you’ll also need to be signed into your PSN account. And that’s all there is to claiming your free six months subscription to the service. Fortunately, Malaysia is in the list of countries that can benefit from this offer. Interestingly, this free six months of Apple TV Plus subscription has a very low barrier of eligibility....

PC Gamer reports that Greene started the new studio to “create the kind of experience I’ve envisaged for years”. The studio itself is “exploring the systems needed to enable massive scale within open world games”. That may be a hint as to what PlayerUnknown Productions is working on, but needless to say it will be a very long while before we see anything being announced. According to the report, Greene left PUBG Corp recently, when the studio decided to change the name of the game to PUBG: Battlegrounds....

While eSIM requires a separate chip to be installed, iSIM is implemented directly into the phone’s main processor which leads to better performance, increased memory capacity, and improved space utilisation according to Qualcomm. The ultimate vision of the iSIM is to have SIM’s functionalities across all types of consumer products, including laptops, VR headsets, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Back in August, Qualcomm announced the inclusion of iSIM technology in its Snapdragon 888 5G chipset....

Specifically, the Snapdragon 750G comes equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X52 5G Modem-RF system. The modem supports both the mmWave and sub-6GHz spectrum, SA and NSA modes, TDD, FDD, and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS). Specs-wise, the new chipset is built around an 8nm die lithography and runs on a Kryo 570 64-bit, octa-core CPU, capable of reaching speeds of up to 2.2GHz. In addition, the CPU is paired with Qualcomm’s own Adreno 619 mobile GPU that the brand says offers up to 10% better performance over its predecessor....

The court’s order stems from a lawsuit that was filed against the company back at the beginning of 2017. The court had ruled that if Qualcomm had been allowed to keep the corresponding patents to itself, the company would’ve achieved a monopoly in the modem chip market. Thus limiting the “competing implementations of those components”. It should be noted that the primary point of the lawsuit isn’t being ruled on with this decision....

As opposed to the BIG.little setup that was implemented on its predecessors which carries an equal amount of efficiency and performance cores, the Snapdragon 855’s Kryo 485 CPU carries four 1.8GHz efficiency cores, three 2.42GHz performance core, and a 2.84GHz “prime” core. The company claimed that the new chip is able to deliver up to 45% more performance as compared to its predecessor which is apparently the biggest performance leap in Snapdragon’s history....

This was done through the announcement of Snapdragon XR2 Platform which offers twice the CPU and GPU performance of Snapdragon 835 Mobile XR Platform. It also able to support 1.5x shade processing as well as 1.5x pixel and 3x texel rates. The platform is also able to support resolutions of up to 3K by 3K per eye at 90 fps as well as 8K 360-degrees videos running at 60fps or 120fps if tuned down to 4K resolution....

According to Reuters, Razer has teamed up with a consortium of companies for the license, and will hold a 60% stake on behalf of its fintech business. The company stated that its bid to set up a retail bank will leverage on the brand’s outlook as a lifestyle brand that is synonymous with the youth and millennials, as well as its global presence. Others in this consortium include FWD Insurance, Shen Siong Holdings, Insignia Ventures Partners, LinkSure Global, and Carro....

As is the usual with Razer controllers, you get improved buttons with the “Mecha-Tactile” tech for the D-pad and face buttons. You also get extra buttons on the shoulder, called the M1 and M2 buttons. These are programmable, so you can put shortcuts to some less-than-intuitive button combinations like Y + A or X + B to make them easier to press. The triggers themselves also come with a Harir Trigger mode to register inputs at the slightest of presses....

From the previous launch, we know that the phone has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset, and a 4300mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor / power button hybrid, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack. For its cameras, the realme 6 has a 64MP + 8MP +2MP + 2MP quad-camera combo at the back. A slight upgrade from last year’s realme 8 Pro, the AMOLED display receives a high-refresh rate treatment and the main camera now has optical image stabilisation (OIS), though the megapixel count went down from 108MP to 50MP — the vanilla 9 Pro has a 64MP camera but with no OIS. Specifications Interestingly, while the base model uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip, realme opted to go for a MediaTek processor for the Plus variant....

Well, yes and no. As pointed out in our article from last week, the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone to beat in terms of pricing is the new Motorola Edge 30 Pro, which is going for RM 2,699. The realme GT 2 Pro, on the other hand, makes its local debut with a price tag of RM 2,599. Which is obviously RM100 less than the competition, therefore actually making it the most affordable of its class in Malaysia… but for a limited time....

The realme Watch 2 Pro comes with a slightly larger screen, at 1.75 inches as opposed to 1.4 inches of the base model. The company also claims that it has a 30Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. It has a slightly larger battery too, at 390mAh, and weighs marginally more as a result, at 40g. The company claims that this gives the smartwatch 14 days of battery life....
