The first thing you’ll notice about the realme X2 Pro is the way it looks. Like other flagship phone makers, the X2 Pro comes with a very curved 3D glass back. This leaves the aluminium frame sandwiched between two pieces of glass, which is the stereotypical flagship look these days. While we’re here, the company has also to go the less conventional route with its branding. Rather than putting it at the centre below the cameras, it’s now slightly towards the right side instead....

And with the Pro moniker comes a slight upgrade in specs, naturally. Company CMO Xu Qi Chase uploaded a screenshot of the device’s About Phone screen on Chinese social media site Weibo. This gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the new phone. From the screenshot, we can see that the realme X50 Pro 5G comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage....

The Malaysian launch event has been scheduled to take place virtually on this coming Monday, 6 July. Officially, the price of X50 Pro in Malaysia is still under wraps at the moment but seems like it has been prematurely revealed through Lazada newsletter: To be available with 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage, the X50 Pro is priced at RM 2999. The screenshot above which was posted on the comment section of Amanz, also pointed out the Snapdragon 865-based phone will be made available to consumers on Lazada starting from 7 July onwards....

Visually, the duo differs from one another in terms of design. Specifically, the standard Redmi Buds 4 features a stemless earbuds form which is accompanied by a tall charging case, whereas the Pro variant features an Airpods-like stemmed design and comes with a wide case. As for colour selection, the former is offered in either Light Blue or Gloss White, while the latter is available in either Midnight Black or Moon White....

At the collaboration’s official launch earlier today, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad stated that the use of e-wallets will add value to MoH and counter services at government clinics. The minister also expressed that the clinics are in need of an efficient registration process due to the increasing number of patients, and hopes that the implementation of e-wallets will greatly reduce waiting time at registration counters. This is an odd direction for Samsung to be taking....

According to the official product page, ISOCELL 2.0 is a refinement of the imaging technology featuring further reduction in the slight optical loss that occurred in the original ISOCELL sensor. How Samsung addressed this issue in ISOCELL 2.0 was done in two phases. In the first phase, dubbed ISOCELL Plus, Samsung replaced the metal barriers within the pixel with a new, optimised material. In the second phase, Samsung then proceeded to replace the lower portion of the colour filter barrier with an even more reflective material, effectively reducing the “optical loss” within each pixel and dramatically improving the light sensitivity within them, essentially giving them the ability to absorb more light and detail, all without compromising colour reproduction as well....

Naturally, the most recent flagships, that is the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series of devices are the earliest to be getting the update. This is then followed by last year’s flagships, and finally the company’s range of midrange devices from the A and M line. Though one surprising omission here is the Galaxy S20 FE and the S10e. The Samsung Galaxy S20 series of devices will be getting the Android 11 One UI 3 update this month....

While they might look identical to their predecessors, the new Galaxy Buds+ offers a number of improvements including longer battery life of up to 11 hours for music playback or 7.5 hours of talk time. Users can double those battery life numbers through Galaxy Buds+ charging case which also supports Qi-based wireless charger. The AKG-tuned earbuds also now feature dual dynamic drivers instead of just single dynamic driver in the original Galaxy Buds....

SamMobile reports that marketing slides of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro indicate that it will be priced at US$199 (~RM808). This is as opposed to the Galaxy Buds Live, which launched with a US$169 (~RM686) price tag. In Europe, on the other hand, the Buds Pro will be priced at EUR229, compared to the Buds Live which launched at EUR199. To put things into perspective, the Galaxy Buds Live launched in Malaysia for RM699, which is pretty close to its US counterpart....

The insight and status of the Galaxy Fold was revealed by Kim Seong-cheol, vice president at Samsung Display, during his speech at the The Korean Information Display Society, which took place in Seoul a few days ago. Samsung’s Galaxy Fold smartphone was announced earlier this year, it’s not an exaggeration to say that the tastebuds and fancy of many were tickled. Then came the myriad of issues that stemmed from its construction and ultimately forced the brand to postpone its launch globally....

As noted by Sammobile, the “pixelated line” seems to manifest itself horizontally across the display and more interestingly, it seems to appear in the same position across all the affected S22 Ultra units. The good news is that line goes away when users switch the display mode to Vivid, indicating that the problem could just be a software issue and not hardware. On a related note, the issue of the pixelated lines seems to only affect S22 Ultra units rocking the Exynos 2200 SoC; units that are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset seem to be spared from the issue, though by right, such a problem shouldn’t even occur on such a high-end, premium device....

Despite confirming its imminent arrival for Malaysia, Samsung did not reveal the tablet’s actual release day though. However, the company stated that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will carry a price tag of RM 1,699 once it arrives in Malaysia and Samsung is also planning to organize special promotion to celebrate its release in our market. Equipped with a 10.4-inch TFT display that has a native resolution of 2000 x 1200, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 9611 octa-core processor....
