Prominent leakster APISAK (@TUM_APISAK), recently posted a tweet about an alleged Alder Lake-P CPU labeled as “HP 89C0” and “HP 896D” on Geekbench 5 and UserBenchmark. Based on those codes, the first is said to be a test platform, while the latter may be in reference to one of HP’s Elitebook laptops. Moving on, the Alder Lake-P CPUs listed on Geekbench 5 lists the processor as having 14-cores, 20-threads, and is flanked by 24MB of L3 cache and 16GB DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM RAM....

The 6950XT was found being listed on the Australian retail store, MegaBuy. While the listing showed the product as a 6900XT, a bit of sleuthing reveals that the product code that was listed alongside it matches the Gigabyte 6950XT already listed on the Eurasian Economic Commission’s (EEC) product page. On that note, the product’s listing on EEC serves as a confirmation of the GPU’s existence, seeing how filings made to the EEC are public and more or less final....

Details of the 13700K’s performance were supposedly sent over to Videocardz anonymously and show the CPU being pushed to operate at a constant 6GHz on all cores. To put it simply, that’s actually quite impressive, given that an earlier leak showed an alleged Core i9-13900K only running at 5.5GHz for all cores. Now, we say all cores, but to be precise, the overclocker behind the action had actually disabled all eight of the smaller cores, also known as the Efficient Cores (E-Cores)....

The alleged promo image showcases a suitcase containing the phone (with front and rear design shown), a protective case, earbuds casing, and controller attachments. It’s unclear if the Lenovo Legion phone will feature either a punch-hole cutout or pop-up module for its selfie shooter from the preview. However, it is worth noting that it appears to feature a dual rear camera setup located close to the center on its back....

Starting with the Nokia G10, the phone is expected to ship out 6.38-inch LCD HD+ display, a 4000mAh, and an octa-core chipset of unknown make and architecture. The phone is also expected to have either 3GB or 4GB RAM, along with 32GB or 64GB of expandable storage. Additionally, the phone main camera is expected to have four sensors comprising a 48MP main, 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro....

Though unconfirmed, the device’s model number, SM-N770F, also coincides with a model number in an earlier article. And while there isn’t a whole lot of detail about the device’s hardware, it appears that the phone was tested using an Exynos 9810 SoC with 6GB RAM. For the record, the Exynos 9810 SoC isn’t a new chipset by any measure of the term. It was first introduced with the launch of the Galaxy Note9....

The page isn’t listed on AmBank’s website yet, but if you go to the same URL seen in the SMS sent by the bank (as shared by Lowyat.NET Forumer ken8888 previously), the webpage reveals that Apple Pay is indeed coming to Malaysia. While we were able to access the announcement page earlier, all the information on the page seem to be gone now – leading us to speculate that the bank may have jumped the gun on this one....

According to a source close to the popular leakster site, Videocardz, AMD’s new launch date for the 6X50XT cards is now set for 10 May, and not the original 20 April date that was initially reported. As to why AMD decided to push back on the launch date, it’s anybody’s guess. AMD is expected to announce three new cards under the RDNA2 lineup, the cards supposedly being the 6950XT, 6750XT, and 6650XT....

That is exactly what a PC modder and enthusiast who goes by the handle Madness! (@Madness7771) did, all because they didn’t enjoy seeing the 5800X3D hitting the 90°C mark constantly. For the record, the operating temperatures of our 5800X3D never really went beyond the 84°C mark, but that’s because we use an open testbench system. And while Madness! doesn’t outrightly say it, we’re making an educated guess that his temperatures were, in part, due to the fact that he uses a closed case and a Noctua ND-D14 air cooler....

To be precise, the performance data of the 3950X was discovered alongside Intel’s upcoming 18-cores, 36-threads, Core i9-10980XE CPU. In terms of scoring, the 3950X garnered a total score of 29663, while the Core i9-10980XE scored actually falters behind with 20703 points in total. That’s an approximate 24% performance difference between the two rivals. It should be noted that in the 3DMark Fire Srike test, there some discrepancies in the hardware used to test both processors....

As these things go, the dual-fan cooler is very likely a hint that AMD’s next graphics card will target the mainstream and mid-range market, meaning that the card could possibly be the long-rumoured RX 6700XT. — Radeon RX (@Radeon) February 24, 2021 As a quick primer, previous reports indicated that AMD planned on releasing a graphics card that was less powerful than the 6800 series and 6900XT, equipped with a Navi 22 GPU....

The decision to enable alternative app stores comes in line after Google received numerous feedback from other app developers suggesting the company on how they can actually create a better user experience by allowing additional app stores for download. Of which, Google obviously agreed with the suggestion. In addition to the company adding more app stores in the future, Google has also mentioned that the feature here is currently in its designing phase....

To recap; the Zeiss ZX1 features an all-black metal exterior, an electronic viewfinder, a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen, and a fixed 35mm f/2 lens. The camera is equipped with a 37.4MP full-frame sensor, an ISO range of 80 to 51,200, and 512GB of internal storage. Besides running on an unspecified version of Android OS, the ZX1 also includes a full version of Adobe Lightroom as part of its software system. Video-wise, the device is capable of recording 4K at 30fps and Full HD at 60fps....

Apple explains that the feature works by monitoring the change in a battery’s heat level history and charging patterns. Based on this, it may reduce a battery’s maximum charge based on your usage of a MacBook. This gives the MacBook’s battery a longer overall lifespan, at the cost of a slightly shorter battery life per charge. If you don’t like the way it works, Apple says you’ll be able to turn the battery health management off....

“The shortages primarily affect ‌iPad‌ and Mac,” Cook told analysts, according to the BBC. “We have a good handle on our demand – but what everybody else is doing, I don’t know.” Earlier this month, it was reported that Apple delayed its production for the Macbook and iPad, pushing back a portion of its component order for the two products from the first half of the year to the second half....

The delay is a clear sign that even giants like the company from Cupertino isn’t immune from issues like the ongoing components famine that was brought about by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. An issue, by the way, that is affecting a company with one of the most complicated supply chains in the world, and its insane ability to mobilise its suppliers in extremely short notices. For what it is worth and perhaps as a form of consolation to Apple, the company isn’t alone in this....

The company has recently published a support document which provides an additional look into its job as a multi-device charger. Specifically, the document reveals the amount of power that each port would deliver when two Apple devices are being charged at the same time. Depending on what you are trying to repair and what you need replaced, you’ll either get one or two cases worth of tools. Apple doesn’t provide the most detailed of images of them, but comparing them to their contents, the kits look a lot larger than expected. This probably has to do with the amount of foam padding inside to prevent the tools from breaking during transport. You can either buy the individual tools needed for the repairs, or just rent the complete set for a week....

According to Bloomberg, Apple might give the AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max the USB-C treatment by 2024. Ditto the Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard for the Mac. The report notes that the company could still release existing versions of these products, since the EU law, should it be signed, will only require devices to sport USB-C if they launched before the end of 2024. All that being said though, the report also notes that USB-C won’t be a thing for as long as the Lightning connector has been around....
