The shared victories of Sam Mendes (1917) and Bong Joon-Ho (Parasite) in the Best Director category puts a smile on my face. From a pure directorial perspective, no director in 2019 deserves the award more than these two who respectively told wonderful highly visual stories about survival and the class system. Developer Phoenix Labs announced that the game will be available on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles starting April 2019. Later in the year, Dauntless will also make its way to the Nintendo Switch, and possibly the mobile segment. PC Gamer reports that in addition to 60fps support, Elden Ring will also support 4K resolution and HDR. Not exactly surprising, since these are all the marketed capabilities of the current generation consoles, and it’s only reasonable to expect the PC version to match them. According to the new agreement, EA Access, the parent company’s subscription-based service, will now be available on Steam. To kick things off, EA is allowing gamers on Steam to pre-order Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. A title that will be hitting store shelves on 15 November. Following up to that, Steam users who subscribe to EA Access will also be able to play other EA titles such as The Sims 4, Apex Legends and Battlefield V over the coming months....

The brand in question is EVGA and the card under the spotlight is reportedly the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin, the company’s top-of-the-line series of GPUs. The tech site explained that Dark Mode is present in an early build for the latest version of the Facebook app on Android, which they have somehow obtained. This version will allow users to manually toggle the mode at their own leisure, and will also automatically activate if it detects that the Android 10 system-wide Dark Mode is enabled.
