In Malaysia, the counter check-in fee has been set at RM 20 for domestic flights while passengers on international flights need to fork out RM 30. The airline has also listed down the fee in other currencies over at its official website. The flat rate check-in fee applies to all customers regardless of their age with the exception for infants of up to 24 months who do not occupy a seat by themselves....
The leaks come from the editor of the Taiwanese tech site, Uniko’s Hardware, who posted the alleged RX 6800’s 3DMark Time Spy score online via their Twitter account. On a side note, there’s no way to verify the source of this benchmark, but leakster site Videocardz is vouching for the post’s authenticity. Getting back on point, the Time Spy score shows the supposed RX 6800 achieving 12704 points overall, while its graphics score is rated at 16775 points....
Like the 14-cores, 20-thread CPU, the alleged Core i9-12900K seemingly follows the uneven core and thread count; it seems to feature 16-cores, but only has 24-threads to help with its multi-threading performance. As to why this is the case, sources suggest that this is due to the processor using a hybrid architecture comprising eight Golden Cove cores, eight Golden Cove threads, and eight Gracemont cores. Add them up, and the thread count actually makes sense, on account that the Gracemont cores themselves lack any form of Hyperthreading....
Photos of an alleged Nokia phone codenamed “Captain America” were shared by leakster Evan Blass aka evleaks on Twitter. Blass suggests that the phone may be the Nokia 5.2 and noted that the images was provided to him by an unnamed tipster. From the images, the phone appears to feature a large display with a slightly thick chin and a waterdrop notch. It also sports a wide earpiece, which may also function as a loudspeaker....
The leak—which came from HardwareLuxx’s Andreas Schilling—shows the alleged official logo of the RTX 2060, which apparently was obtained from Nvidia’s internally circulated marketing material. The ransomware and hacker group, which goes by the name RansomHouse, is relatively new to the scene, laid claim to the alleged treasure trove of information. In a press statement, AMD says that it is aware of the claim, and that it was already looking into it. As for when the breach occurred, it seems to have been executed on 5 January this year. Strangely enough, RansomHouse claims on its site that it doesn’t deploy ransomware, nor does it execute attacks into a company’s servers....
The three new HEDT chipsets in question are the TRX40, TRX80, and the WRX80, were discovered by Twitter user @momomo_us after they made their way to the USB-IF. The names of the chipsets are interesting for a number of reasons. For the Apple AirPods X, it would come with a model number of B517, and is aimed at the sporty crowd. Prosser claims that it will be announced between September and October, for for US$200 (~RM870). As for the Apple headphones, Prosser says they come with the model number B515. They will be announced during WWDC, and will have a price tag of US$350 (~RM1522)....
According to CNET, the app will allow Android users to get alerts for when unauthorised AirTags are travelling with them. This feature will not only work with the tags, but also other Find My network-enabled devices by Apple. In addition to the Android app, Apple has also rolled out a new firmware update for its AirTags. One major change that comes with the new update is the time it takes for people to be notified if an unauthorised tag is following them....
As a recap, it was recently discovered that several big name brands had been secretly recording the screens of many iPhone users. Without their permission. The list is extensive, and includes prominent brands such as Hotels.com, Expedia, and Singapore Airlines to name a few. Some of the companies had apparently been collecting data through a screen capturing program provided by a data analytics firm known as Glassbox. Much of this user data is obviously private, containing sensitive details such as passport and credit card numbers, as well as a user’s known current address around the world....
It’s unknown as to when the collaboration between the two companies started. But according to Digitimes, the AR headset will only be released in the second half of 2020 at the earliest. It may not look like the concept illustration above either. It’s an interesting partnership, to say the least. Valve launched its own Index VR headset earlier in May. Perhaps Apple takes that as an indication that the company that runs Steam knows a thing or two about making headsets....
To be precise, an excerpt from the alleged document states that “New models” of Apple products launched between 1 June 2020 and 31 May 2021 – dubbed the “2020 Launch” – will be fitted with the SDX55 chipset. The leak was first picked up by the Apple-centric site, 9to5Mac, who was supposedly digging through the source code of Apple’s iOS 15.5 beta release. Supposedly, the code makes references to “enhanced Focus and News functionality” for a device with newer software, as well as the possibility of exclusive upgrades for devices no longer fully supported on older devices. What is interesting is that, aside from the planned Focus mode overhaul, it also sheds light on Apple’s plan to officially cut off the kite strings from another older generation of iPhones and iPads....
Rewound developer Louis Anslow stated in a blogpost on Medium that the company took down the app because it plagiarised the iPod’s design, charged for Apple Music features, and was impersonating an official Apple product. Anslow disputed against the claims by justifying that Rewound had a basic interface that looked nothing like an Apple app. Instead, the iPod skin that complements the app’s clickwheel function was a free downloadable content, and not Rewound’s default appearance or was pre-installed with it....

The employees reportedly got the news via email from Songyee Yoon, CEO of NCSoft West. NCSoft is the publisher of Guild Wars 2 and owns ArenaNet, and at the time of writing, houses around 400 employees. The layoffs are states as part of NCSoft’s plans to cut costs, unsurprisingly.
