Android Police reports that a flag has been added to the beta version of Chrome 84. Enabling this activates a tab strip at the bottom of the Chrome browser’s interface. It looks similar to the PC experience, besides the fact that the tab strip is at the bottom. Rather than seeing full names of websites the tab is on, you only get an icon. Enabling this flag involves pasting chrome://flags/#enable-conditional-strip into the address bar....
Speaking to The Star, a Google spokesperson confirmed that the tax will be applicable to the company’s G Suite services which provides custom email addresses, cloud storage, and productivity related applications to businesses and companies. The tax will be charged on user purchases and will be reflected under the “Billing & Payments” section of their accounts. The spokesperson has not disclosed whether the tax will be affecting online purchases via Google Play Store, or other Google-owned platforms such as YouTube Premium and YouTube Music....

The rationale for the robot is apparently driven by the growing popularity of Grab’s mix-and-match feature, which allows customers to order from different restaurants within a mall and pay only a single delivery fee. For delivery persons, this inevitably means longer times going through malls as multiple locations must be visited. Fortunately, if Grab’s projections are right, the robot could shave off between five to fifteen minutes of this tedious multi-stop journey....

Frandroid reports that Huawei CEO Richard Yu confirmed the device’s appearance at MWC 2020. He also mentioned an improved hinge mechanism and a more resistant display on the foldable phone. This is in addition to the Kirin 990, the inclusion of which was announced previously. Yu also mentioned a possible release in Europe, but did not specify an exact date. It is likely the Huawei Mate Xs will enter the Chinese market in March 2020 as initially announced, but its status elsewhere remains unknown....
