CDPR initially assured fans that the game was still on track for its September release window back in March, despite the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the promise could not be fulfilled as the developer had decided to push the game’s release from 17 September to 19 November 2020. Meaning that gamers around the world will have to wait for another two months to finally play the game....
News of the developers’ unanimous decision first came to light during a Game Informer (GI) show, when the show’s host spoke about the alleged decision by CDPR’s bosses to institute the dread crunch period. Apparently, a meeting was held between the CEOs and the developers, where the choices were put to a vote: delay the game once again, or bite the bullet and slog through the final furlong. Needless to say, the latter was seemingly chosen....
This was mentioned by company CEO Adam Kicinski during an investor meeting, as initially reported by StockWatch.pl. He was quoted as saying that “it’s the natural order of things”, drawing comparisons to The Witcher 3; WIld Hunt which also got a GOTY edition following the release of two expansions Hearts of Stone, and Blood and Wine. You might be thinking “hang on, Cyberpunk 2077 so far only has one announced expansion in the form of Phantom Liberty”....
In a series of three tweets, CDPR explains that the effect of the hack and the extent of the Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.2 means the devs will have to push its release back. Posted on GitHub, the screenshots indicate the ability for a call that’s currently running on the PC or mobile Discord app to the PS5 console. They also indicate that for the call transfer to work, you’ll need to have to already linked your PSN ID to your Discord ID, with the way to do so being announced back in February of last year. Dell claims that the UltraSharp Webcam came about when the company wanted one that had the image quality of a DSLR. To that end, this webcam has a Sony STARVIS 4K CMOS sensor, and a multi-element lens. It also supports HDR, which the company claims allows the webcam to adjust exposure to the lighting condition of where you are. That being said, it doesn’t come with built-in lighting. Nor does it have any built-in microphones, while we’re on the subject....
