As you might know, the Intel Core HX Series is meant for high-performance tasks such as gaming, game development, content creation, and engineering. The Raptor Lake-HX Series currently consists of nine processors including the top-of-the-line Core i9-13980HX that carries eight performance cores (P-cores) and 16 efficient cores (E-cores) together with 32 processor threads. Some users are reporting their devices losing up to 50% of their battery charge in less than 30 minutes. Others are seeing their battery life dropping by around five percent in just minutes of normal use. Even charging seems to take longer than usual. And to top it all off, users are seeing their battery charge go up after a restart. For the most part, this issue seems to be affecting the older devices....

The in-depth nature of these issues has not yet been revealed by Apple but the company has mentioned that all three issues were reported by an anonymous researcher. One of them affects the kernel of both operating systems and would apparently allow hackers to run an application that could elevate their privileges. Another two issues belonged to the WebKit which is the web browser engine that Apple has used for Safari....

To start, the iPad Air 4 has gotten the blockier design that the iPad Pro has. This means quite a number of things, but the most obvious one is the lack of the home button. Though this doesn’t mean it loses TouchID, as Apple has integrated it into the power button. Also, it comes with a USB-C charging port. The screen in the iPad Air 4 is a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display....

According to Pu, the 2023 lineup will feature a 6.1-inch display for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro while the Plus and Pro Max models will carry a 6.7-inch screen instead. He also believes that the Pro models will be outfitted with a titanium frame as well as solid-state volume and power buttons that will include haptic feedback from two additional Taptic Engines, which sounds similar to the implementation of the Force Touch trackpad on MacBooks....

The JBL Tour ONE wireless headphones are equipped with Hi-Res Audio certified 40mm JBL Pro Sound dynamic drivers, and come with active noise cancelling (ANC) capability. Powering the latter feature are a total of four onboard microphones, which is also used for hands-free calls and issuing commands to your phone’s built-in voice assistant. JBL says that the Tour ONE is able to last up to 50 hours of playback with ANC disabled, while having the feature enabled would let it last up to 25 hours....

As per the body’s official press statement, the company has announced the publication of its JESD233: XFM Embedded and Removable Memory Device (XFMD) standard and its function as a new “universal data storage media”, aimed at providing NVMe over the PCIe interface, but in a smaller and thinner form factor. Specifically, we’re talking about a component that is about the size of a microSD card. Simply put, the new XFMD standard will still use the NVMe logical interface but with just one or two lanes of the interface....

The same happened over the past few days when Marvel Studios announced that a Blade Reboot starring Mahershala Ali is currently in the works. Many fans wondered what the film would be like if someone like Jordan Peele stood behind the camera. After all, Peele is a great storyteller particularly when it comes to horror films with African-American sociopolitical undertones. Well, unfortunately for fans, Peele has already taken his name out of the hat....

The announcement came as part of the Star Wars Celebration event. As a modern re-release of the game, this version of the Knights of the Old Republic II will come with some performance enhancements and resolution upgrades. Though from the trailer, these don’t seem too substantial, as you can still see the age of the game quite clearly. That being said, one definite bonus of getting this version of the Knights of the Old Republic II is what’s dubbed as Restored Content DLC....

Twitter user AestheticGamer claims that, two years ago, the publisher has reached out to developers that may be interested in bringing the series back. One of the two games will serve as a soft reboot of the series. Operated by Henz Pacific, the single bus which was officially launched on 1 March is manufactured by CRRC Corporation Limited. The bus will go on a three-month trial and cover 26 stops, which includes popular destinations such as the Open Air Market, Kuching Waterfront, and Sarawak Museum. With a capacity of 53 people, it is also wheelchair accessible and equipped with free Wi-Fi service that is powered by Digi. Passengers can download the Kuching Metro app for Android or iOS that will show where the bus is currently located on a real-time basis....

Just in case you missed it, Universal Control allows multiple Macs and iPads to be controlled by a single cursor and keyboard seamlessly. Unlike Sidecar, which uses the iPad as a monitor extension, this feature lets you use each linked device independently. You can drag and drop files from any of the devices to each other using a cursor from any mouse or trackpad. The feature is enabled by default for those who have updated to the latest betas....

As part of the Regional Open Beta, League of Legends: Wild Rift is also getting new content. This includes a new Champion, Lee Sin the Blind Monk, which PC players of LoL will be familiar with. Riot will also be testing other PC Champions for a few days, and they will be free to play during this time. If you’ve taken part in the Closed Beta, you can also get extra rewards like Champions and skins....

Powering the sensor is a Maestro II processor, and a large 2GB buffer which allows the camera to shoot at a top speed of 3fps for photos. Video-wise, the camera shoots Cinema 4K by utilising the entire width of its medium format sensor at 24fps....

One of the recent examples is the new LG LED Cinema Display which has just made its global debut in Taiwan. At 7 meters high and 14 meters wide, the display was deployed in collaboration with Taiwanese cinema chain, Showtime Cinemas. Operated by Starz, Lionsgate Play was first made available in India late last year. Its availability was then expanded to Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Philippines before our market. Since Lionsgate Play Malaysia’s website and mobile apps are not yet available to local consumers, it is hard to determine the true strength of the service’s catalogue for the time being.
