Violators who are not complying with the order would be brought to the station for further action. The compound is fixed at RM1000 and individuals will be given two weeks to fulfill its payment. Failure to do so will land them in court, he added. The compound will be issued at the police station and not at roadblocks.
“Don’t take this lightly as there is no discount for the offences. It’s not worth paying the compound. Adhere to the MCO and stay at home,” urged Acryl Sani. He states that payment for the compound must be done at Ministry of Health offices nationwide. The director also revealed that as of 7 April 2020, 66 policemen have been tested positive for COVID-19 and another 1,225 are currently under quarantine. “Among those quarantined are 155 senior police personnel, 654 rank-and-file as well as 381 family members.” he added.
