Like its predecessor, the Leviathan V2 sports a similar design, where it is large enough to be placed on a desktop. The only differences between the older and newer model being the aforementioned Chroma RGB lighting system which is located underneath, and that it includes two sets of detachable feet that either angles the soundbar forwards or slightly upwards. Found on top are interface buttons for source, power, volume control, and Bluetooth activation/pairing. Featured inside the soundbar are two full-range drivers, two passive radiators, and two tweeters, while included together with it is an external downward firing subwoofer. Of course, not lagging behind are its built-in audio enhancements, which now features THX spatial audio and 7.1 channels of surround sound – allowing for more accurate, realistic and detailed soundstage. However, Razer notes that spatial audio is only available on devices running Windows 10 64-bit or higher. Besides that, the Leviathan V2 comes with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, should the user decide to pair it wirelessly to their PC instead of using a direct USB-C connection. Razer’s new soundbar also features multi-device support that enables you to seamlessly pair and switch between multiple connected devices. Though, keep in mind that the V2 is not a portable speaker, so there’s no built-in battery – meaning that it needs to be plugged-in to a power source for use. The new Razer Leviathan V2 is available now and is retailing at RM1,399, which is quite a leap when compared to its predecessor’s launch price.
