For starters, the new tablet comes with a 11-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution (2000 x 1200 pixels) and 5:3 aspect ratio, though its refresh rate was not disclosed. It is also shown to sport a similar design language as its siblings, sans featuring an island on the upper left corner of its rear plate which houses a single camera. The realme Pad X measures 7.1mm in thickness, weighs 499 grams, and is offered in Star Grey, Sea Salt Blue, and a special dual-tone finish called Bright Chessboard Green. Internally, accompanying the aforementioned Snapdragon 695 chipset is up to 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, while operating the software side of things is the Android 12-powered Realme UI 3.0 platform. The Pad X is powered by a massive 8,340mAh battery, which also supports 33W fast charging via USB-C. Besides that, it also comes with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certified quad speakers, and support for its official keyboard accessory and realme’s stylus pen accessory. It’s also worth noting that the tablet is only offered in a Wi-Fi only configuration. As for imaging, housed within the rear camera island is a 13MP primary shooter, while situated on the side bezel of the device’s display is an 8MP selfie camera. In regards to the latter, realme notes that the front-facing shooter features 105-degree coverage and comes with a Center Stage-like tracking capability for video calls. The new realme Pad X is slated to go on sale in China on 31 May 2022, and will retail at CNY 1,299 (~RM 848) for the 4GB + 64GB configuration and CNY 1,599 (~RM 1,044) for the 6GB + 128GB.
