Starting 1 December, you’ll be able to buy Red Dead Online without the base game on Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as the PlayStation Store. Rockstar says that this will come at a price of US$5 (~RM20), but this is only 25% of the regular price. The price will go up to US$20 (~RM82) after 15 February 2021. This will take up 123GB of storage space.

The launch of Red Dead Online as a standalone game coincides with the game’s Bounty Hunter expansion. This could help increase the player base of the Rockstar multiplayer game. And it’s probably something it needs badly, as it pales in comparison to its Grand Theft Auto counterpart. While on the subject, GTA Online will also be getting a standalone version in 2021. At any rate, Red Dead Online has yet to appear on any of these platforms as a standalone just yet. You’ll have to check back at the turn of next month to see what their exact local prices are on each platform. (Source: Rockstar Games [1], [2])
