Kotaku reports that the launcher is, as of now, quite bare-bones in terms of features. It does add any Rockstar games you already own into its library. It also supports cloud saves and automatic updates. But if you have those games on Steam, you’ll still have to run them through Steam.
Getting it now also nets you a free game, in the form of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. That said, dataminers have found out that it’s the same version as the one on Steam. While usually not a big deal, those who have played the game on the PS2 will find that a few songs are missing. Some are taking the release of the Rockstar Games Launcher to mean that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC.
