Spotted by German tech website WinFuture, the Korean brand uploaded official marketing images of the standard Galaxy S20 to its own website. While not only did it reveal a new LED casing for the phone, the page that the images were uploaded to also confirmed the flagship’s rumoured new name. Images of the Samsung Galaxy S20 also confirmed its previously leaked design by sources such as OnLeaks and IceUniverse – from the front display’s punch hole cutout, to the rectangular camera island on its back. However, the page merely listed brief information regarding the S20’s LED case and did not reveal specifications on the phone itself.
According to WinFuture, the page and its images were quickly taken down by the company, but only after the tech site managed to snag some screenshots of it. Samsung also previously leaked the Galaxy Note 10 series accidentally on their website last year, just a day before they were officially announced. We’ll eventually see the new Galaxy S20 series in full glory when Samsung’s Unpacked event arrives next week on 11 February 2020.
