The patents, which were first spotted by LetsGoDigital, looks relatively interesting and indicates that Samsung may already be looking towards moving away from putting punch holes and notches on the display. The first sketch depicts a phone with a blemish-free display with a part of the phone’s sliding back noticeable at the bottom. Sliding that frame down reveals another display, indirectly extending the phone’s display real estate.
Then there’s the in-display camera depicted in the second design slide. Instead of placing the selfie camera at the top, the slide shows the camera module is positioned at the corner of the phone and under the display. The takeaway here from this slide is the detailed drawing on the right; it gives us an idea as to how the camera uses the rotating mechanism for both a single or dual selfie-camera module.

As always, and as it is with all submitted patents, there’s no indication if these designs will ever make it into the final design or production line.
