Setel was developed to provide Petronas customers a seamless and friction-less experience by providing a wireless payment approach when refueling.  So much so that all transactions are done entirely on the app, without the need of using NFC or QR code scanning. Aside from announcing its availability across Peninsular and East Malaysia, Setel CEO Iskandar Ezzahuddin has stated that more features will be added to the app in the coming months. Setel currently features integrated fuel payments, loyalty, retail and e-commerce in one platform. Italso allows Petronas Mesra users to earn and redeem points directly through the application.

In conjunction with the upcoming 34th Anugerah Juara Lagu, Setel users could cast their votes for their favourite songs and artists directly through the app, and even stand a chance to win fuel vouchers worth RM1,000 each. The Setel application is available for free on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store. To find out more regarding Setel and its services, do check out their official website.
