Tetris Royale is made by developer N3TWORK and The Tetris Company. If it’s not already obvious, the game involves the game of Tetris, battled out among 100 players. If you want a more traditional Tetris experience, the game will also feature modes like solo marathon. The Verge reports that the partnership between N3TWORK and The Tetris Company will be one that spans multiple years. This could mean that there will be more games being made as a result. That said, one wonders if the Tetris formula can be varied enough to justify sequels. Tetris Royale is currently in development for both iOS and Android.
