The report has also pointed out that the pilot project which is currently taking place in Jasin, Melaka technically has been “very successful” according to Azman. This comes as no surprise since Pos Malaysia has recently posted a speed test result from its office in Jasin which showed that TNB’s fiber network able to run at a speed of almost 1Gbps:

At this moment, TNB is apparently in the process of informing its plan to the government. He also has stated that the project will be completed by end of this month in which the result will be then evaluated by the company. However, Azman has confirmed that there will be no more additional broadband pilot project for its fiber infrastructure as opposed to what has been rumored before.
