As Twitter points out, some of the features being tested in Labs would likely be made available to everyone else in the future, or become an exclusive to Twitter Blue – or could be scrapped altogether. Like regular beta tests, subscribers will have a say in what happens to each feature by providing their feedback to the social media giant.

One feature allows users to upload videos lasting up to 10 minutes long from the desktop website, as opposed to the current limit of 140 seconds. Another is called Pinned Conversations, which lets users pin their favourite conversations on top in their Direct Message inbox. Twitter has been quite experimental this year, testing out several beta features every month, with the recent ones focusing on NFTs, cryptocurrency, and making the platform less toxic.
