Can I get Windows 11 for free? If you are already using Windows 10 right now on your machine, then the simple answer is yes. However, this is only true if your machine is able to meet the operating system’s minimum requirement which we have listed in this particular report. Before you rush off to grab the operating system, we hate to break this to you though: Windows 11 is not yet ready for the general public. In fact, the first group of people that will receive the new operating system are Windows Insider users who will be provided with what Microsoft has described as an early build. This particular version could be missing some of the features that the company has shown at the launch event tonight. As for the actual general availability, there is no set date at the moment but Microsoft has said that it will take place during this year’s holiday season which can be pointed towards the end of the year.
