This special edition Xbox Series X is modelled after Mjolnir, the hammer that’s synonymous with the Norse god of thunder. Which means that the console itself is made to look like the hammer head, with added effects to look as if it is cracked. There’s also a handle on the side, but it remains to be seen if it’s a real handle that you can hold to pick up the console with. Not that it’s advisable to do that even if it was a real handle that’s securely attached to the console. As is the case with most prior special edition Xbox consoles, Microsoft is giving away this Mjolnir Series X via sweepstakes. Conditions to entry are as simple as following the official Xbox Twitter account, and remain one for at least seven days. Then retweet the promotional tweet with the hashtag #ThorLoveandThunderXboxSweepstakes.

Follow @Xbox and RT with #ThorLoveandThunderXboxSweepstakes for a chance to win this epic Mjolnir-themed Series X. Best of luck! Ages 18+. Ends 7/21/22. Which means that we in Malaysia are out of the running before it even begins. The sweepstakes page also mentions a controller that comes with the special edition console, though what it looks like is not shown. But whatever it may look like, it will probably be less bizarre than the furry controllers that were part of the Sonic special edition Xbox Series X sweepstakes. As for the movie itself, Thor: Love and Thunder was supposed to premiere this week. But since the movie contains scenes that the local censors deem necessary to be cut, it be showing in cinemas starting 21 July instead. Which, coincidentally, is the date that the sweepstakes end.
