Both offer mostly similar hardware and features, with the exception of their chipsets and charging speeds. To be more specific, the duo are equipped with a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, HDR10+ support, and 120Hz refresh rate. Despite being offered with an all-screen display with a punch-hole camera cutout, the new T series does not feature an under-display fingerprint sensor. Instead, this is replaced with a scanner + lock button combo situated on its right-hand side. Other than that, both phones also come with Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC support, Wi-Fi 6 and 5G connectivity, stereo speakers, and a water and dust resistance rating of IP53.
Powering the Xiaomi 11T is a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra chipset, paired together with memory configurations of up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the 11T Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256 UFS 3.1 storage. While both devices feature a battery capacity of 5,000mAh, they differ in terms of charging speed. The 11T comes with 67W fast charging, while the more powerful 11T Pro comes with the brand’s 120W HyperCharge which promises a full charge in just 17 minutes (the former, on the other hand, takes around 36 minutes).
In terms of photography, both T series models feature the same triple camera setup and selfie camera sensors. Housed within the rear bump is a 108MP f/1.75 main camera, 8MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle, and a 5MP tele-macro. Meanwhile, found in the display’s punch-hole cutout is a 16MP front-facing camera. Features-wise, Xiaomi says that the duo comes with a variety of photo and video modes including the new AI Cinema function, Audio Zoom, 8K recording capability, and much more.
Both of the new T series are available in Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue colour options. The Xiaomi 11T will be available at a starting price of EUR499 (~RM2,452), while the 11T Pro starts from EUR649 (~RM3,190). Xiaomi has yet to confirm the availability and pricing for the duo in Malaysia. (Source: Xiaomi [Global])
