As it turns out, Xiaomi released a poster, indicating that the brand is preparing to launch a new gaming laptop via its Redmi lineup. More importantly, the laptop will officially be called the Redmi G Gaming and its reportedly going to launch this month. Specifically, 14 August.

Beyond the name, date, and alleged teaser image of the laptop, the poster contains no additional information about the portable gaming machine in question. That said, a posting on the Xiaomi’s official Weibo page suggests that the Redmi G Gaming laptop could ship out with Intel’s 10th generation Core i5 CPUs. At a glance, though, we can also see that its display has really thin bezels at the sides and at the top. The shape of its base also gives an indication that the finished product may look and feel solid. Assuming the laptop ever arrives on our shores. On that note, we’ll just have to wait until 14 August to find out more. (Source: Weibo via GSMArena)
